Wills

A study carried out by the Sue Ryder Charity has revealed that 90% of people have not planned for their death and 68% have not written a Will.

Have you thought through the implications of passing without plans? Have you drawn up your Will? If you have drawn up your Will, have you revisited it when there is a substantial change to your life such as marriage, children or divorce?

Life can take unexpected turns so it is crucial to have a Will drawn up regardless of your age or finances. If you die without a will, the distribution of your assets, no matter how small, will be decided by a probate court and the final outcome may not be what you intended. Will you be leaving your loved ones with a legal headache?

“Wills are legal documents, and as small errors can cause big problems, it’s preferable to have someone qualified draft it for you.” – Money Saving Expert

We offer fixed fees for basic Will writing and can offer home or hospital visits in R.C.T. for a small charge.  If you can’t get to us don’t worry, we can get to you.

Lasting Powers of Attorney

Growing older can mean problems for us and our loved ones – even the young can encounter problems due to accident or illness.

The Office of the Public Guardian’s Safeguarding Strategy 2019 to 2025, states: “We believe that all adults over the age of 18 should make an LPA (Lasting Power of Attorney) so that someone they trust can make decisions for them in case they lose mental capacity.”

Whether your aim is to make matters easier for your loved ones or whether you wish for someone to manage your financial affairs, we offer expert advice on the uses of Lasting Powers of Attorney which will provide you and your loved ones with protection should the worst happen, either now or in the future.

At Full Stop Law, our skilled team can guide you through the options available, helping you reach the right decisions for you and your loved ones.

We offer a fixed, transparent fee, and can also visit you at home or hospital for a small charge.

Deputyship

When someone can no longer make decisions relating to their property and financial affairs or their health and welfare, and there is no Lasting Power of Attorney in place, it may be appropriate for the Court of Protection to appoint a Deputy to manage the affairs of that person.

Our specialist, sensitive team are on hand to guide you through the application procedure to become a Deputy ensuring that the process is hassle free enabling you to focus on the person, rather than the paperwork.
