French Law Student Marie Lemaire’s Blog (July 2018)
Working at Full Stop Law was a great opportunity for me. As a French Law student, it was challenging regarding the language, the specific terms used in family law and the different proceedings. However, the team gave me the chance to follow them in their daily work such as assisting in appointments and helping with cases, allowing me to discover family law and, more broadly, the work done by solicitors. Not only the team was very welcoming, dynamic, and professional, but they were also encouraging and patient, answering all my questions. My next step is to finish my LPC and hopefully to qualify as a (family law) solicitor after a training contract. I would like to thank the Full Stop Law team for their support and the great time I had working with them.
Victoria Cannon our managing director said “having Marie with us for this week has certainly taught us a lot. We have learned quite a bit about family law in France and of course we’ve congratulated Marie on the football! It has been a pleasure to have Marie with us and we wish her all the very best in her career.”
